CR7 THE GREAT! CR7 THE GREAT.

From Portugal a star was born
Shining so bright amidst the darkest clouds
Some loved, others despised
A start so humble
So dim, just a tiny ray it showed
Never knew the whole world awaits
Patiently, to see this diamond in the skies

Thru the hard and the smooth
The pains and its gains
In golden legs he worked
Shining brighter with time
Dazzling everywhere he pitches
The Round Leather Game his passion
Hardwork his watch
The World's Best his vision

Smiled at 'the peak' with the 'Red Devils'
Old Trafford a world he'd never forget
Exit with his name carved in its skies
Los Blancos the next world he dreamed
with the highest deal ever in the game
the dream came true
his face on every page of Hala Madrid
'Ballon d'or' on his mind again

Tougher it was than planned
Relentlessly he rekindled the drive
Passionately striving for that height
Longer it took than he envisioned
Though Delayed and denied
Some called it fate, others robbery
Different faces, diverse opinions

Wagging tongues from his critics
They called him proud and arrogant
Forgetting a 'model' always stand tall...
...Ask Giorgio Armani
Through it all he never lost focus
Engrossed in the passion,
He made 'their tongues' his drive
Undauntedly pressing on
Doing it again, was all he could see

For 2013, the dream came real
From the Brazilian Legend he got the prize
A night of joy it was
An emotional being, so human
A rear view of his journey,
And he broke down in tears
With 'Cristiano Jr.' Empathizing by his side
Like he could see his father's mind in 3-D

Thank you!!!
The only thing written on the Star's lips
Never seeing his own efforts,
But of all those who were involved in the journey
CR7 the great,
The world awaits more of your shine.

<br />
