The walls People tell me I won't make it.
People say I'm nothing.
I built a wall to bock them out
To block everything out.
I got lonely
so I let you in
but you stabbed me in the back.
I built more walls
walls of fear,
fear of being persecuted
not welcomed.
After a while I realized I'll never be happy with these walls up.
So I tore them down.
I let people in.
I saw a light ,
it was a bright light ,
a light of joy and peace.
Now I am happy.
Now I am free!
