Blessed with you... I had a poem stuck in my head
but couldnt put in words
the thought simply escaped me
like a thousand uncaged birds
I tried to show the world i care
but no-one wants to listen
until I glanced into your eyes
and saw my life re-glisten
you care for me and show me love
and help me see the light
you stand with me, through good and bad
you help me to take flight
I know not what i would do
without you near my side
I have some-one to tell my fears
for in you Ill confide
I only ask you do the same
and know my heart is true
I know I couldnt do anything
If I wasnt blessed with you.
