Friends
something in your life
what you cant always see
is just what you are missing
when you're missing family

sometimes it takes us all awhile
to see just what we've got
to learn what life is all about
and just what it is not

we are gonna make mistakes
no matter what we do
this creates the normal life
between me and you

so think about the words you read
in every line I write
put your best foot forward
and try with all your might

only then will you understand
the simple facts of me
thats how you'll know we love you
you are our family
