The third dream The third dream

I will always remember the first time I fell in love
The first taste of tears
The silence

I have
Opened a well
Of broken dreams
And they have opened into me
A truth
That I cannot keep

The third dream
Is a of row cars
Light after light
The cold winter night
Stumbling down

The third dream is a trembling
Tear stained hand
Hiding a smile
