Year 2013 I sit here and reflect on the year.... 2013
On my aspirations, goals, desires and even my dreams....

I ponder it all, the journey of the year that will now come to an end
Yet another year of life is ahead that is just about to begin...

The faces that came and gone the moments that were spent
There was laughter and tears that are now gone with the wind....

Words spoken, actions taken, things lost and things found
Days where your on top of the world and days when your down....

Work, School, decisions and changes galore
But there was family and love and you couldn't ask for more....

Before you know it the year 2014 you will be in
Me, I'm thankful for all that has transpired and all that has been...

It's a piece of history that has made me who I am today
Some wish they could change it all and others would not have it any other way...

I learned things from 2013 and have things I'm immensely grateful for
The road was a tough one though and sometimes I felt I was in a war...

But I survived and I'm standing tall today ready for the New Year
I will keep my head up and put aside all my doubts and my fears...

And though I havent come close to where It is I want to be 
I will keep striving and welcome in the year 2014...
