Squint of Fur
Crouched upon sun-split shells
bless this squint of fur reposed
beneath unruffled skies,
splattered in the yolky
rays of a frying sun.
Set is his primal gaze
that leers its angst
across the cultivated
fields.
His care-laid nest a shelter
for his horizoned intellect to
exist beyond the urgency
of time, to exist beyond
the paradox of fenced space.
Let his will fizz like
unfastened balloons
alert to the sense of being
alive, beyond the murk
of mans print and scent.
Let him fly with a will-pristine, to
discover the unrendered secrets
in the moods and temperaments
of the rain soaked flowers.
Tell me squint of fur,
and tell me undisgusted.
Of the unwilted beauty
crippled in mans vision.
