A Cruel Place School, "a safe place" they say
Yet I go and feel in danger throughout the day
A place where the prettier more popular girls are accepted
While the less fortunate are rejected
If you have money everyone wants to be your friend
otherwise they act as if you're dead
The world where if you're skinny you're loved
And otherwise off to the side you're shoved
The place where its thought to be funny if someone takes a life
Is it possible to end this strife?

Everyday I walk to classes in a daze
And the hurtful things I hear never cease to amaze
People are judged by how they look rather who they are
Judged by what they do and wear
This is the world I live in
Where hate and cruelty are given
So the names will keep calling
As more innocent children are falling

When will this cry for help REALLY be answered?
Will anyone change their ways?
Don't they know that kindness pays?
Do they know so many lives could be saved?
So many deaths stopped
So many lives changed
...What a cruel place that we live in today...
