That's Life Things are crazy in today's society
It's so hard to take things lightly
There's so much pain and so much sorrow
You never know who will be here tomorrow
Everyday someone takes another life
Somewhere a girls cutting with a knife
We all have secrets, we all tell lies
We've watched it all through bloodshot eyes
Everywhere there's this fear of being alone
A hate deeper than bone
A week ago 4 children went missing
And no one seemed to be listening
Just yesterday a man was gunned down
Another place, another town
But hey, that's life right?
Another day, another familiar sight
Another thing gone wrong
One more overplayed song
