Collections Slowly mounting one by one;
Thoughts of hopes and plans undone;
Promises as yet unkept;
Dreams beneath my pillow swept.

Here and there a piece deleted;
Haunted by my incompleted;
Projects tossed aside in masses;
Half a set of jelly glasses!

I own life as I can catch it;
Seldom have I time to match it!

Yet each dusty acquisition; rose from dreams and sheer ambition;
Bringing me to disagree, that I should STOP and let it be!

To all pursuing dream collections;
May I share my premonition?
What is found dwells on a shelf;
Hunt! Or gather dust yourself!
