Shine A glimmer, that spark that shines,
I can compose words that create galaxies,
I can take the motion of gravity and ask for divinity,
I can ask for the breath of an angel and you would give it to me.
A glimpse, a thought, a sentence, something you said that let me inside.
Let go of your darkest fears you hold and the ones you won't let die.
I am the mist in the darkness, the light you seek when you have no one to confide.
Like candles with no wick, or captains with no ship.
I hold the very thought of you inside, somewhere deep inside where they would never get.
From luscious gardens, and hearts that harden
I tread lightly hoping not to hurt your soul.
From your light and gentle caress, to the footprints on the floor your feet bless.
I believe...
Like the air I breathe,
Like the shimmer of a gleam
The prophecy of a dream,
There's only one thing this could mean.
As I take a step back and realize
And understand the things you do to me
My lady, my heart, you are always beautiful to me
