a prayer answered

as my world grows stronger
in everysingle part
this life that I live
is so precious to my heart

the simple words I love you
are precious words to hear
when they are spoken by my son
my destination is clear

our new life together
is beyond a dream come true
he's the best friend I could have
in everything i do

he is my perfect angel
my inspiration everyday
with the little things he does
and the words that he would say

as grateful and as thankful
as a dad could ever be
god knew just what I was needing
when he gave my son to me
