The Memory I remember walls of pure white
All the whispers that night
I remember his touch
Unforgiving, Rough
The look in his eyes
As he filled my head with lies
Unable to clearly think
As he poured me one more drink
I was young, I was scared
A nightmare never shared
In a room. On a bed
Echoes of words never said
His nails digging into my skin
As he assaulted my body again
The unheard screams
Images that haunt my dreams
His thrusts like a knife
Tears falling as he took my life
Laying torn as he slept near
Silence as I drowned in fear
Curled up on a blood stained sheet
Trembling unable to fall asleep
Waiting until the monster awoke
The feeling as my heart finally broke
Silently letting the dark take me in
Screaming as the memory played once again
The secret and the lie
What makes me ask "Why?"
