If this is what I have to do if letting you go is what i need to do
i will
if pretending we are just friends is what i need to do

if loving you means i have to let you go
i will

Nothing and no one will ever know
the love that is ours
i can do this because
it is in the stars
it took me a while to realize
that a love this strong could materialize
from a heart so strong, it dreams of only you
it may take time for the divine
but this love will be ours in time.

if time is what i need to give
to you to correct the way you live
then time is what i will outlive
so time until i can be with you i can forgive

I love you with all
fiends we will be
until you fall
in love once again with me.

i will survive until that day
when you will say
i love you sweetie
and forever you will stay
