Illusions I never should
Have trusted you;
Should have seen
Your love as untrue.

I never thought
That I would see;
The day would come
You're cruel to me.

I thought I could
Put faith in you.
I never thought
You'd make me blue.

I always saw
A caring friend;
I never thought
That it could end.

I want to see
The world go by;
Without you here,
I cannot fly.
