Just Tell Me That You Love Me Just tell me that you love me
precious words I so much want to hear
When I close my eyes
I love you, is what I envision you saying to me my dear

So desperate for your love
as I am lonely without a feeling of love from you
I am patiently waiting
but those are only words and feelings you just don’t pursue

Having given everything
not knowing if I have anything left to give
I am at a point of moving on
knowing I have my life to live

Too empty of all the love I had within
I truly have a broken heart
I wish I could turn back the hands of time
to hear those words from you, like at the start

It is something I cannot force
those are feelings you have to feel in order to convey
Every day I spend without you
I find myself wishing there was just another way

Just tell me that you love me
find that little spark that resides yet in your heart
We can find a way to fix it all
loving each other and never again go apart

I love you
these words have meaning and so much more
I am patiently waiting for you
you’re the person I truly adore

If you can’t ever say
those special words again to me
I will have to be your friend
that’s the way it will have to finally be
