She say's
She says I'm playing a game
I think she's looking for someone to blame
She says it can never be the same
I realize foolish ways and people change
She says I can't understand why you let me be
I say that I just want to be free
She says I hope that tomorrow comes and it's me you'll want to see
I know that it's silly and for that fact it will never be
She says that my words broke barriers and she let her wall down
I say if you were foolish enough to do that
Next time you should be smarter before letting someone like me around.
She says I can never be touched the way you made me feel,
I say I can't soften minerals that form steel
Not my fault you couldn't realize that I'm all real.
She says I love you and I'll die without you
I know she's hurt, but I can't invest in something I don't believe to have worth
She says I'll never be with anyone again that there will never be another man like me on planet earth
I laugh and sigh...
I know that in time we all heal and she won't die
She says don't you know my tears are real when I cry
I know but I can't, but to me it's just a failed attempt for you to try
She says what can I do to change your mind
I say heal yourself and when you do I'll be an afterthought in time
Conscience clear free from my mind.
