The countless gifts you are... You're like that very first breath
that I take to start each day
You're what escapes from my lips
When I think of what to say
You're like the sun when it's rainy
You break through the clouds in my life
You're like my beacon in the fog
How you guide me with your light
You're like the friend I've had for years
The way you're always there to listen
You're like my lighthouse on rough seas
The way I'm saved when your eyes glisten
You're the reason my heart beats
Just so I can give myself to you
You're my reason for it all
Now that you're in everything I do
You're the force that pulls me in
The way we gravitate to each other
You're the mentor in my lessons
You're my companion and my lover
You're like the finest painted canvas
Or a beautiful concerto to my ears
You're like a cuddly security blanket
The way you help fend off my fears
You're like the warmest of fires
On a freezing winter night
You're like being wrapped in heaven
When you simply hold me tight
You're are the world that I exist in
You make everything so great
You're the one that's stole my heart
And given my soul it's mate...
