On a cold dark night, bobby the burglar quietly crow-bared his way into number 13 Unlucky Avenue. On entering the mansion, which he knew was empty on this particular cold dark night, he realised he had hit jackpot.
Diamond chandeliers, golden TV remotes, and best of all a signed Eric Cantona shirt framed, from the FA cup final 1996 when he scored his 15 minute hat-trick against Chelsea!
He had just filled up one sack when all of a sudden the stillness was broken by a little voice.... ''Jesus is watching you.'' Bobby froze to the spot.... he had never been the religious type, but those Sunday school stories about frogs falling from the sky had put him off French food forever! He looked round and after seeing nothing continued, quicker than before and just concentrating on the best items.
Half way through his second sack and there it came again, almost drifting eerily round the living room ''Jesus is watching you''. Bobby started to get worried, he removed his little black mask and moped his brow on his red and white striped top, he grabbed the last few things just when he heard it again, piercing and crazy this time ''JESUS IS WATCHING YOU!!!''
He lost it, in terror he ran round the room and happened upon a birdcage (it was a very big room!) ''Woz that you sayin that?'' He said to a great blue parrot. ''Yes,'' replied the parrot, missing the fact that the parrot had actually replied to him Bobby continued, feeling more relaxed now, after all a parrot is just a dumb bird! ''What''s your name then?'' he asked.
''Moses'' replied the bird with a flutter. “What a stupid name for a parrot” laughed Bobby, the parrot looked offended, puffed himself up and remarked ''Not half as stupid as calling a Rottvieler Jesus!''
