Frosty Icing

Ingredients


1 1/2 cups caster sugar,
1/2 cup water,
3 egg whites.


Directions


Mix sugar and water in a small saucepan over low heat until it boils and sugar has disolved. Simmer uncovered without stirring for 5 minutes.

Beat egg whites in a mixing bowl until stiff peaks form.

Pour in hot syrup slowly over egg whites, beating constantly until icing is thick and glossy.
