Passion Born In Blue

Contributed by Silent-No-More on Thursday, 18th November 2004 @ 12:59:19 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveorRomantic

I want someone there
To hold me
When melancholy beckons
And I can’t manage to deny it
I want him to
Sweep the tears from my face
With fingertips
So gentle that I can’t be sure
I felt them

I want to be moved
So very moved
By how he looks at me just then
Making me cry even harder
When he kisses me
And I feel his cheek wet
As it presses
So warm and tenderly
Against mine

I want it to be silent
Just then
As if the world disappeared
And left us alone together
In that moment
To slip beyond our kiss
And tumble
To the place where
Passion lives

I want him to lay
Me down
Making me forget all else
Until there is nothing but him
And the sound
Of our hearts beating in concert
With the song
He’s singing in quick
Raspy breaths

And I want to live that moment
As if we had been given but one…

That was absolutely beautiful ...sighs... the last lines are as romantic as it gets.

Your mind is a thing of wonder,
Roses at your feet

* Wonders perhaps ... did want maybe replace wish, for fear that if one is not carefull for that which she wishes .... it just might come true ?

A true work of art, my dear. I reach for stars, and pull the night to me to fall asleep and dream dreams of blissful tears.

This still amazes me.
It is so full of tenderness, passion, love and desire. They have been poured right onto the page.
This awakens something deep inside me.
A very special write. I am so glad you wrote this.
