In the Moonlight

Contributed by Silent-No-More on Friday, 11th June 2004 @ 08:44:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Suggestive

Moon! Why do you taunt me so
Saying those things to me, teasing me
Restless you leave me

Now, sleepless, hopeless I will be
Desperate ever more, wanting more
Troubled so by thee

Wait, it would seem all I can do
I lay still, counting down until
Sun comes back to me

very short and sweet. Sometimes it *does* seem like the moon is out there teasing all the romantic hearts - specially when it's full.

Nice write, the moon does funny things to people, makes romance bloom in the night. Good write

Because daydreams are simply wistful fancy, yet they that visit in the night ... have substance. The moon ushers them in and then sees them out. Such is its nature.
