Feel Me

I don’t mean to burden you
with controlling words that I write
It’s just a certain way
to share an inner sight

The words share much feeling
it speaks of pain some might endure
Sometimes the words send you chills
because the words are pure

I try to send you smiles
through words that I write
However it’s not always possible
and it’s one hell of a fight

If I can make you shed a tear
from just a few words I say
Then I’d like to make you again happy
to laugh in an uncontrollable way

Words can be strong
when viewed in a three dimensional way
My goal is to make you feel
what the words I write, have to say

With all that being said
enjoy all the poetry that I write
With every laugh or tears
feel my inner sight
