Words To A Selfless Friend

The flowers are so beautiful
thank you for thinking of me
It’s something you didn’t have to do
but it’s what you wanted to be

You often think of others
not putting yourself first
If you had the last glass of water
you’d give it to another, if they had a deeper thirst

Your selflessness is amazing
you are unique in every way
A truly loving person
you have a special gift I’d say

So thank you for the flowers
and having me on your mind
You are so filled with love
you are one of a kind

Your friendship is truly honored
you’re such a blessing in disguise
Whenever I am down
you help my spirits again rise

May God give you blessings
in everything that you do
You deserve a gift as well
so I send all my love to you

I don’t have any flowers
but have many words to say
So to you my friend
I share these words to you today
