I Apologize My Friend

You ruined my day
or so I thought it was so
However that’s not totally true
it’s about the way I wanted to go

I don’t always listen
to what other people have to say
So it seems
it was I that ruined my day

Easy to point a finger
to blame someone else for anything wrong
Easy to say it’s your fault
all of the day long

Being angry
not having a clear thought in my head
You were in the wrong place at wrong time
it’s your fault, are the words in my head constantly being said

Eventually my mind will clear
my faults will inevitably ascend
Then I will feel my guilt
for being a jerk to a very good friend

I hate it when this happens
sometimes I lose control of things I do
I hope you will forgive me
as I apologize to you
