Sitting here
Restless and tired
I/'/m thinking of you
With your picture in my hand
I feel as if you/'/re by my side
Sending a message that isn/'/t clear
Is it hello or goodbye
Maybe I shouldn/'/t cry
I found comfort in just knowing you
Although I always feared
You/'/d grow old and die
Leaving me behind
Not understanding why
Now that you/'/re gone
I feel so sad inside
All I have are the memories
I fear they too will subside
Leaving me with only the pictures
To reminisce
