In the dark pt. 2 Rest your weary head tonight
You just went through your biggest fight
Blood was shed and so were tears
You opened your heart and showed your fears
Love was not assigned to you
It just did what it was designed to do
It caressed you softly, safe and tight
Made sure you slept through the night
Then in one powerful clap
Love tore out your heart and turned its back
Your body lay still frozen with fear
You thought you didn/'/t have anymore tears
