Blind Sacrifice

You don’t have a clue
you have no idea how I truly feel
You’re all about your selfish ways
the rest of the days of my life you steal

Caught up in a world of your own
thinking everything is normal as can be
I am here to say it isn’t
I almost want to set myself free

Your blind ambitions help you
and I am paying a hefty price
You are too blind to see it
for me it’s an ultimate sacrifice

Every day for me it gets worse
because so fast the time goes by
Every day I find myself in a state of confusion
asking myself over and over, why

I know my reasons
but I am now seeing your reasons too
There is so much emptiness between us
oh God what should I do

If I were to leave you tomorrow
you would be upset and cry
You would try breaking your barriers of blindness
asking yourself over and over, why

My state of confusion is becoming reality
i’m tired of thinking about it every day
It’s getting to a point of decision
i’m almost ready to finally walk away
