Colors of domestic violence
Red as the blood that flows through your veins
Purple as the color that bruises and stains
Black as the color that covers your skin
When you let the anger out that/'/s trapped within
White as the color of unharmed flesh,
unbroken and innocently fresh
Green as the color of bruises healing
Love is lost but you won/'/t lose the feeling
Orange as the color of the fading sun
As you walk away you/'/ve finally won
