My Peaceful Passage

This is my passage
where I walk in peace and tranquility
It seems a bit gloomy
but it is a very special place for me

The trees and the leaves
the shadows that protrude the light
It is eerie here
but somehow feels just right

The slight fall breeze
moving the leaves as they fall to the ground
My ears are peeled to silence
so I can hear the slightest sound

I walk through the shadows
toward a fog that lingers in the air
There seems to be a stretch of daylight
I walk slowly, but am almost there

My mind relaxes
every time I come to this place
So quiet and peaceful
it always puts a smile on my face
