Love Thyself, You Are Not Selfish
Sis was concerned, about herself
One day on a drive, a story she did tell
She said everyday, I'm transfixed on myself
From the first to the last, ring of the bell
I admire mom, how she is never done working
And how she constantly turns around to help, dropping everything
She asked, "How do I free myself, of this me fight?"
"No matter what," she continued, "I want to do what is right"
Wait, wait, I stopped her in her classroom
If unselfishness was a ladder, you have it to the moon
Look at what you do for students, pointing to the notes on her desk
Frankly, it is that quality you already possess
So hey there sis, don't be ridiculous,
Love thyself, for you are not selfish
